Meet up at main car park at Beaulieu for 10:00am. (See www.beaulieu.co.uk to find out more) We will break up into small groups so that people can spend more time in the areas they are most interested in. (E.g. Petrol-heads will spend more time in the motor museum and culture-vultures more time in the abbey, gardens and house) Tickets for all areas are £15.25 or tickets for everything except the motor museum are £8.40. There is a café in the grounds for lunch.
At 2pm we will recombine (by the café) into one group to walk down to the 18th century village of Buckler’s Hard, which may cost us a further £5.90 unless I can arrange a combined group ticket. The walk is only 2 miles, so no need for all the usual walking gear. After exploring the village and its pub we will walk back to Beaulieu and the car park.
Please can you let me know if you are going by Sunday 13th and I will see if we can get group discount. (This requires a party of at least 15 people, so I can’t promise anything.)
